Description: Cases - Water Right Query System indexes the legal and administrative cases attached to Montana water rights. It contains one record for each administrative water case or Montana Water Court case associated with a water right version, identifying the water right (basin, water right number, type, and status), the version to which the case is attached, and the case itself - internal case identifier, public case number, case type, and current case status. Because cases attach at the version level, a single water right can produce multiple records. The table is non-spatial and is used together with the case link in the version-level WRQS tables.
