It contains one point feature for each reservoir associated with the public version of a Montana water right. Each feature carries the reservoir name and type, its current and enlarged capacities in acre-feet, surface area in acres, dam height in feet, and the number of the point of diversion it is associated with, alongside the parent water right's identity, status, priority dates, owners, purposes, and quantities. Full legal land description attribution is included at township, range, section, and aliquot-part levels, with a formatted label field. Features are placed on the centroid of the mapped legal land description, so positions represent the legal description of the reservoir rather than a surveyed dam or pool location.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV> |
