Description: Water Right Ownership Updates Summary is the ownership-update transaction table. It contains one record for each water right ownership update processed by the DNRC New Appropriations program, distinguishing updates filed directly (type 608) from those originating in Department of Revenue realty transfer data (DOR 608). Each record carries the receiving regional office, the dates the update was received, processed, and if applicable terminated, the date any deficiency letter was sent, and the county and basin of the water right transferred. Two derived measures support performance reporting: elapsed processing time in days, rounded to one decimal place with same-day transactions recorded as 0.1 so they are distinguishable from unprocessed records, and a yes/no indicator of whether the update was processed within the statutory thirty-day period. Received and processed years are carried as separate attributes for dashboard grouping, and geometry is included so volumes and timeliness can be mapped by county or basin.
